The feeling of melancholy, has it ever hit you when life chances dance around you? The worst loss to anyone is the loss of Love and Friendship. Sometimes memories are hard to forget, they come to haunt you, especially the bad ones and sometimes even the good ones. One Last Time will make you ponder over how conveniently life gets into a clutter of tragedies, choices and decisions.

Ishaan, the protagonist’s life takes a rewind button of flashbacks of his relations, incidents and promises (made not to be broken). The story hops from – “Ambala. New Delhi. New York. Love Career. Distance. Longing. Separation”. Tithi and Ishaan- childhood separated friends and then the shining destiny find a way to make them eternal lovers. When he gets a call from the love of his life, Tithi, who breaks the news of her marriage, he decides to board a flight to meet her. “But flight 1549 is not destined to reach its destination. Unaware and oblivious, he is lost in his memories of her”. Hence, realizing how much he still loves her.

Ishaan comes from a supportive family; a father who stands by him with his decisions makes an impressive character. Another important character in Ishaan’s life is his passion for Cricket sport. An association of Cricket in the story plays a significant role; it becomes the strength for Ishaan’s existence as a character. Love being the central essence of the book is not really conveyed in the most intimate sense by the author. Ishaan’s life is portrayed through the encounters of his destiny, which turns into a number of shocking mishaps at times.

Lost love? Last chance? Will Ishaan grab his fate of ‘One Last Time’?

One last time is the second novel by Shubham Arora. While reading the book you may blush a little because this one is a pure ‘Love in the Air’ read. You will get a real picture of how relationships work in today’s time of ‘Going with the Distance’ gap between the lovers. And the most delicate part of the book is the loss of a friend at a very young age.

Now, the entire book takes a troll of memories of Ishaan’s childhood. Yes, there are moments that will make you nostalgic on innocent childhood- school days. No, it is not philosophically driven or drenched into sadness or any of those of a pick. It is a very light hearted, lovable and quite a refreshing for all the readers. Also, the language is lucid and simple.

All in all, if you’re looking for something easy, light and not too mind boggling – Buy.Pick.Read and Rejoice this one, published by Paper Clip Publications.
