Book cover design is an interesting art form, if you think about it. The best book covers make you stop yourself and look again. The cover is an expression, a description, of the contents of the book, but it should be neither too obvious nor too obscure – it has to reveal the book’s soul using a single image. Then there’s the text – how the title is displayed, the choice of font and colour, the author’s name, a blurb or recommendation – everything that combines to create that perfect book cover.

Kitabi Keeda of the most obsessive sort. When she's reading something, interrupt her only if you have life insurance! Discovering a fantastic new author can move her to tears. Loves trekking, adores animals and venerates good food (eating it, not cooking it :))!
